Mojisola Olateru-Olagbegi

Board Member

Mojisola Olateru-Olagbegi is a Co-Founder of The Workplace Centre Ltd.(TWPC) a human resources and ICT consulting firm and Executive Chair of The Workplace Youth Initiative (TWYI) a non-profit that trains young people, equipping them with relevant technical and entrepreneurial skills and connecting them with work opportunities. Mojisola has over 25 years of Information Technology industry experience. Her primary focus is on Digital Strategy, Transformation and Innovation, IT Governance and Programme Management. Her experience spans both Nigeria and North America where she worked with fortune 500 companies as an IT Project/Programme Manager and Technical Specialist. Mojisola was also a consultant to the Federal Ministry of Communication Technology from inception and was instrumental in defining its Structure, E-Government Strategy, and establishing its Programme Management Office and ICT Cadre. She has been the National Coordinator for the World Bank Microworks Project (2013), Naijacloud and the Rockefeller Foundation Digital Jobs Africa initiative (2014-2016). She volunteers for the Nigerian Economic Summit Group as the facilitator for its Science and Technology Policy Commission. Mojisola holds a B.Sc.(Hons) Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Lagos, an M.Sc. in Electronics from King’s College, University of London and a PhD in Strategy, Programme & Project Management from SKEMA Business School, France. She is passionate about promoting educational opportunities for young people, especially in Africa and bridging the digital skills divide between boys and girls.
